Cherry Basement Bar with Reeded Island Posts and Square Feet

Recently, customer Michael D. of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, completed his basement bar and was kind enough to submit pictures to us for our blog. Michael ordered two Classic Reeded Island Posts (Part #1456) in soft maple and four Hartford Square Furniture Feet (Part #4086) in hard maple for his bar. All the items were stained in cherry. Although recommended for painting, this is an excellent example of how Osborne’s soft maple can be stained if the stain is dark enough to cover the mineral streaking in the wood. The unique project took only two days from start to finish for Mike, and that’s even with adapting the bar to make it taller and fit his preferences.
