Furniture Feet Provide Stylish Support for Monitor Stand

Furniture feet are versatile components that can be used in lots of creative ways - but this may be our favorite application yet! Our friend Jennifer was looking for a way to raise her desktop monitors, so she paired a shelf she already had with furniture feet to create this lovely wooden monitor stand.

This project had certain parameters that made it challenging - the shelf needed legs that were not too tall and not too wide. Jennifer noted it was hard to find the right fit until she discovered our large selection and found the Medium Squat Round Bun Foot (Part #4115). This foot was the perfect size to support the shelf while not taking up too much desk space.

The finished result is a unique design that is incredibly functional. The monitors are lifted up just enough that they are comfortable to look at, and there is room for storage underneath. Jennifer used a curly maple and purple heart shelf with a water-based polyurethane finish. The furniture feet are made from pine and were finished the same. The result is absolutely beautiful!
