They knew exactly what kind of look they wanted for their island, and did a lot of research to make sure that just the right parts and construction details were included that would result in the island of their dreams. They ordered Osborne’s St. Simons Island leg, Part# 1468 and Osborne’s Petite Acanthus Leaf Corbel, part# 892020, in hard maple. We really admire how nicely the small acanthus corbels embellish the island with just the right amount of decoration, without being overpowering. And notice the clever way that they added the bottom shelf of the island by splitting the island foot from the bottom of the post, and then added it to the bottom of the island shelf–well done!
