Osborne Wood Acquires Bendix Architectural Products
Toccoa, Georgia, December 9, 2015: Osborne Wood Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of island legs, corbels, and table legs, announced today the purchase of the assets of Bendix Architectural Products.
This acquisition, effective December 9, 2015, includes all the products, product lines, and name of the company, Bendix Architectural Products, Inc. The assets will be moved from Passaic, New Jersey, to Osborne’s facility in Toccoa, Georgia.
Bendix Architectural Products, Inc. was officially founded in 1924, but members of the Bendix family produced wooden mouldings in Germany tracing all the way back to 1854. The company has been located in New York and New Jersey over the past 91 years, offering a variety of decorative mouldings, including corbels, appliqués, and crown mouldings.
Bendix is very respected in the woodworking industry. This acquisition adds some incredible products to the Osborne Wood Products line, providing a wider selection to customers of both companies. With their decades of experience, Osborne is uniquely positioned to meet customer demands and serve the woodworking trade environment, and can continue uninterrupted service to the Bendix customer.
