Dining Table Re-do from Queen Anne to Farm Table
We just can’t get over how resourceful our customers are, and you can see for yourself in this dramatic updating of a dated Queen Anne style table. Our friend Jan Moon in Fayetteville, AR, wanted to update their dining table and figured out what had to be done and how they would do it. They selected Osborne’s Farm Dining Table Leg, part #1020 for a more modern, current style.

Jan said the first thing they did was to refinish the top from a dark cherry to a rich oak color. They removed one of the legs and measured the size of the opening so they could order a leg that was the same width. Osborne’s 3 inch wide Farm Leg was a perfect solution!
They ordered hardware to attach to the back of the leg that would allow them to attach the leg to the table. When they received the legs from Osborne, a small notch needed to be cut into the back of the leg before installing the hardware so the leg could fit up against the table skirting. Once the legs were ready with hardware, the legs and skirting were primed and painted a beautiful white color, and then the legs were attached–beautiful!
