Mahogany Island Makes Huge Impact

Don't you just love this super-long and elegant island with so many deep, deep drawers and stand-out drawer pulls? There is so much to love from the rich mahogany finish to the perfectly matched island legs, Osborne's World Hutch Kitchen Island Leg, part 1486. Our friend Alyssa over at Saltwoods in Watertown, MA, shared this photo with us of one of their stunning fabrications.

The details are what make this island really stand out, from the stunning grain of the legs and drawers to the gleaming metal hardware all around. Saltwoods chose an island leg with a 13" tall top block to accommodate the very deep drawers on this elegant island. These legs can be applied to a cabinet face or stand alone to support a countertop, peninsula, raised table or center kitchen island. Each wooden leg is sanded to 150 grit and unfinished.
