Reclaimed Barn Wood Adds Authentic Touch

Kitchen Island Posts & Vanity LegsGallery

We think you will love this deluxe island as much as we do, which uses reclaimed barn wood for the shelving and skirting. The photo was submitted by our friend Michael over at Heartwood Table Co. in Jefferson GA . Michael used six of Osborne’s Grand Harvest Kitchen island Legs, part 1416, which have a generous top block that allows for a deep skirt and generously-sized drawers. The turned foot at the bottom of the leg adds a graceful touch. Notice how the leg also includes a bottom block just above the turned foot, which provides a flat surface to attach the lower shelf and stretchers. This leg checks all the boxes for a perfect island leg!

Osborne Wood Products carries a diverse line of island legs, which are available in at least ten wood types, sanded to 150 grit and ready to finish. These skillfully-crafted legs are sure to find a home in your next furniture design.

Island legs come completely unfinished without any holes or hardware. However, with Osborne’s millwork and installation services you are guaranteed a perfect fit! Work directly with a customer service representative to determine if your island leg needs hardware installed, a chamfer, or other services to simplify your design process. Have your legs shipped ready to simply install and finish, using the variety of services offered at Osborne.

Build Something Beautiful with Osborne’s island legs, and then send us a photo of your creation so that we can share your creation with other DIY lovers!
