This 3 ½” wide post exhibits a square turned body with the silhouette of our popular Islander style leg. This post adds a modern design to the island without over powering the design. Amy also noted that “this larger than average 31” peninsula overhang required special support for the quartz counter—a sheet of steel under it. The legs are screwed into the sheet and into the floor. The steel was the counter manufactures’ spec.” This is great information to keep on hand when designing a similar kitchen island!
