Stylish Credenza Featuring Osborne Island Legs
Credenzas have been a functional piece since their humble beginnings. As time moved forward the credenza increased in both popularity and style. Today, you can find credenzas of various sizes and styles gracefully placed in dining areas for both function and design. A credenza is very similar to a buffet or sideboard table. They offer functional storage, and oftentimes sit very low to the ground. Some credenzas can be very long, offering ample storage for entertaining guests in the home.
Today, I would like to feature a beautiful credenza from William T. using Osborne island legs. This beautiful piece features the Concord Island Post (Part #1471). The Concord style is a perfect match for this piece, offering simple yet elegant turnings as well as a bottom rail block for added support and dimension. The leg appears to have been made just for this design! The island posts were finished to match the antique white shade of the cabinetry. The top of the credenza offers a subtle contrast, featuring natural wood textures and hues. When combining the textures and colors, the piece is absolutely stunning!
William told us, “[I] Used your island legs to build this credenza for a customer here in Greenville, Al. They worked great for this. All of the legs I have purchased have been super. Thanks for taking pride in the craftmanship of your products. Delivery is always fast and products protected nicely.” Thank you for the kind words, William. And thank you for sharing your photo with us! Amazing work!
