Osborne Wood Products, Inc. Recognized for Global Marketing Efforts

Osborne Wood Products, Inc. has been recognized as a 2021 GLOBE Awards winner. This award was presented to only 17 local businesses this year by the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) for impressive international marketing efforts. These efforts continue to enhance the economic growth of Georgia’s global trade and solidifies the state as “Top State for Business.”

Over 80% of the selected GLOBE Award recipients are small businesses with less than 100 employees. These winners showed incredible commitment to sales growth and expansion. Collectively, the recipients expanded to six continents and 50 countries throughout 2020.

“During 2020, Georgia for the first time became a top 10 exporting state – a major recognition that would not have been possible without companies like our GLOBE Award winners,” said GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson. “In a year unlike any other, these Georgia companies adapted and diversified. Congratulations to our award winners, and a special thanks to the International Trade team at the Department for their tireless efforts to help businesses grow and succeed in new international markets.”

Osborne Wood Products was also a 2020 GLOBE Awards winner and has worked diligently to continue improving their worldwide presence, as well as their day-to-day operations. They continue to grow as a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality wooden components through various marketing efforts and quality assurance.

“Osborne continues to work to position ourselves favorably in the international market. Although we have had some challenges related to the pandemic, we continue to find opportunities to expand our efforts into new countries,” said Jeremy McClain, marketing director at Osborne Wood Products.

Osborne Wood Products has been in business for over 40 years, specializing in turnings, mouldings and other decorative wood components. Their inventory also boasts custom creations, DIY kits, hardware and accessories.
