Assembly Instructions

Materials Used:

Tools Needed:

  • Drill and drill bit (¼”)
  • Speed square
  • Tape
  • Two nuts of the same size
  • Vice grip/wrench

Instructions:

  1. Using a speed square on the underside of your tabletop, mark the edges of where you want your overhangs to be. Place multiple marks to ensure the mounting blocks will stay in position.

  2. Mounting blocks will come with 1 ¼” screws to attach them to the bottom of your table top. Depending on the thickness of the tabletop, you may need to use shorter screws to ensure you do not go through the top of your table.

  3. Using the screws, attach your mounting blocks to the underside of the tabletop.

  4. Before attaching the last block, screw one of the hanger bolts flush into the mounting block to see how much is left sticking out. This will tell you how far to drill into your table legs so the legs will be flush with the mounting blocks.

  5. Use a piece of tape to mark on the drill bit how deep you will need to drill before installing the hanger bolts.

  6. Use the tooling marks in the table legs as guides to drill to ensure that everything is centered.

  7. Keep your drill as straight as possible to ensure the hole in the top of the leg is also centered and drill the ¼” pilot holes.

  8. Lock two nuts of the same size into place on the threaded part of the hanger bolt (this prevents damage to the threads from vice grips).

  9. Using a wrench or vice grips, screw the hanger bolts into the table legs.

  10. Finally, you can screw the table legs into the mounting blocks. If your leg is not exactly straight with the bolt, do not worry. Keep tightening them down and they straighten themselves out.
