Builder's Studio: White Oak Dining Table with Cabriole Legs
In this episode of the Builder's Studio, Jonah shows how easy it is to build a beautiful white oak dining table using Osborne's new Large Cabriole Dining Table Leg (Part #1090)! This leg has a unique profile that will accommodate a variety of styles. The contrast between the stained white oak top and the painted legs is incredible. Building a custom table is easy with our table base kits which include everything you need to attach a table top to the legs of your choice.

Assembly Instructions:
Assemble the table base kit. This includes attaching the table legs to the skirt boards and securing the assembly with the included corner blocks.
Set the table base aside and sand the table top to 220 grit.
Put on a pair of gloves and apply the finish of your choice with a painter’s rag or brush. We used danish oil on the table top and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before flooding it a second time. Repeat that until the wood will not absorb anymore oil and starts to sit on the surface. Then, once buffed and dried, you can apply a polyurethane coating on the top.
Finish the table base. We applied a semi gloss black paint with a brush.
Once everything is dry, flip the table top upside down and then lay the table base upside down on it. Make sure it is centered where you would like it to be attached. Using the pocket holes in the apron boards, you can use the supplied screws to install the base to the top. Make sure the screws are not too long and will not go through the tabletop.
