Our Bamboo Kitchen Island Leg is a classical design that is reminiscent of the Oriental influences displayed in 18th century Chippendale pieces. It is a stunningly symmetrical piece composed of a round, turned shaft separated into four pieces of equal length separated by five rings that represent the bamboo nodes. Charming and elegant, the bamboo motif lends itself to work that is stained as well as to lacquered and painted finishes. This piece is available in several wood species and it will be sanded to 150 grit allowing you to add paint or wood stain with ease.
