Product Description:The Fluted Traditional Square Cabinet Column is a gorgeous take on a simple design. The smallest amount of detail goes a long way and this is shown impressively with the design of this post. The design resembles a large column but it is 35 1/2" tall and 5" wide, making it ideal for a kitchen island build. The square profile allows this piece to be incredibly weight-bearing and sturdy enough to support almost any countertop. The intricate carvings include flutes and decorative edges that give this piece a shaker, craftsman or arts & crafts feel. Use this post in a wide range of interiors to add simplistic elegance and dimension to the space.
This wooden island post is offered in multiple wood types including paint and stain grade options. If you are looking for an even simpler design, check out the Traditional Square Cabinet Column (Part #2780) which is the same profile without the fluted detailing. Both of these pieces will be sanded to 150 grit and ready to finish.
