This Large Crown Block is a hand carved piece that will elevate your ceiling design. Use it in the corner of your ceiling to avoid joint or miter cuts from being visible. The block features intricate acanthus leaf detailing that will add an elegant look to your project. It is meant to be used as a decorative transition between pieces of crown moulding, especially our Acanthus Leaf Crown Moulding (Part #7451). As long as the moulding has an installed height of less than 6", this corner block will be usable in your design. Please note: Installed height of crown moulding is less than the height of the moulding itself as crown moulding is installed at an angle.
The first step to incorporating this block into your build is selecting one of our unfinished wood species. We have stain and paint grade options so that you can apply the custom finish of your choice. Once finished, attach the corner block to the corner of your ceiling. Place the edge of your crown moulding up against the flat portion of the top of the block. Repeat this on the adjacent side. You will be left with a beautiful transition.
