The Small Center Half Round Plinth with Spool is a great way to join lengths of moulding. The rectangular plinth block forms the center of a piece with twin, standard spools. Each spool is designed to adjoin our 2" wide half round moulding. The entire plinth is 10" long with a 15/16" depth. The width at the end of the spool is 1 5/8" and it has a depth of 3/4". This is where you would center a 1 3/8" wide moulding. The gradual reduction of width from the 2" inch block to the 1 3/8" moulding creates a pleasing, symmetrical look at the joint of any long stretch of trim.
This wooden piece is available in a variety of wood species, depending on your preference. It will be sanded to 150 grit and ready-to-finish. We also have a slightly more decorative variation of this item - the Small Center Half Round Plinth with Modified Spool (Part #7125).
