A modern home is easily achieved with the effortless Square Kitchen Island Leg. This contemporary profile is one of our largest variations of a square island leg with a 40 1/2" height and 5" width. The massive composition allows the piece to easily support a wide range of counters and table tops, including granite. This wooden island leg is perfect for a simple, modern kitchen design but it can be incorporated into many creative projects. Other tall table projects such as bar-height tables can be created with this piece.
This style boasts simplistic beauty and proves that you can create a stunning design without elaborate turnings or carvings (although, if you are interested in ornamental pieces, we have many designs to choose from). The wooden piece is sanded to a smooth 150 grit finish which will make it easy for you to apply your choice of wood stain or paint to the exterior. Select from several wood types, depending on your preference and finishing plans. We also offer a Square Turning Blank (Part #1405005000) in this size for a lesser price as it has not yet been sanded.
