Bun Foot Seamlessly Adds Height To Table Legs
Can you find the Osborne part in this photo sent to us from Susan at Little Lou & Co.? As lovely as the legs and table parts are, they unfortunately are not ours. The table was originally an old library table finished in a dark mahogany, and lovingly restored by Susan, who brightened the color and raised the overall height to work with her needs. We were delighted to see how cleverly Susan added an extra three inches of height to each table leg using our Non-Fluted Round Bun Foot, part 4005.
It is quite rare that adding a bun foot to a table leg to increase the height can look natural, like it was a part of the design. In this case, the dramatic design of the turned legs included a stacked look of various turnings that blended beautifully with each other. It was a great solution to a height problem, and kudos to Susan for her idea! See the video clip to watch how nicely she attached the feet to the bottom of the legs.
