A Cozy Mantle for Those Chilly Fall Nights

What’s better than a nice fire, a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or a warm up of tea? A beautiful mantle to decorate with the season and show off your favorite seasonal decor, of course! That’s right, everyone! It’s almost fall and we can feel the fire burning in your hearts as (almost) everyone’s favorite season draws near. With that season on the way, we found it fitting that our friend Gerald sent in pictures of his beautiful new mantle that he created using some of our favorite corbels.

Gerald’s mantle sits over his electric fireplace heater which gives the illusion of a real fireplace. We love the look of this piece and think that it’s an awesome way to create some extra heat in your home when you don’t have a fireplace that was already built in. It’s always nice to cuddle up with a nice blanket and book next to the fire whether it’s a real fire or electric. We all love those cozy fall and winter nights.

We also love Gerald’s corbel choice for his mantle. Gerald chose to use our Milan Mission Corbels which give his mantle great support and look fantastic! He chose to use knotty pine for the wood and stained it a beautiful walnut color which gives a nice cozy feel to the room it’s in.
