Beautiful Hall Chest Features Mission Style Design
One of my favorite collections that we offer here at Osborne is the Mission Style Collection. The Mission Style features recessed edging, straight lines, and a perfect combination of detail and simplicity. The Mission style is perfect for adding dimension and texture while allowing other details in your design to shine as well. With available items such as corbels, island posts, appliques, and more, the Mission Style can easily be incorporated into any project throughout the home.
Today I would like to feature a hall chest design from Rob R. Rob chose to use the mission style to compliment this beautiful piece. First, Rob ordered the Massive Mission Island Posts (Part #1448). Our shop split these legs in half for Rob in order to give him an onlay effect for his project. (Splitting services are offered on a wide variety of Osborne island posts). Rob also used the Milan Mission Corbel (Part #8013) which he personally cut down to fit his design. Rob skillfully attached the legs and corbel to the structure of the cabinetry inset under the overhang of the top. When the piece was assembled, Rob painted the chest greens and blues. He also added Fleur-de-lys detailing to the body of the mission leg.
Beautiful work Rob! The hall chest is stunning! Enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing your project with us.
