Hand Carved Corbel Detail adds Elegance

DIY (Do-It-Yourself) projects have become a bit of a fashion statement in recent years. With the evolution of websites such as Pinterest and DoItYourself.com, the public at large is beginning to rely more on themselves and their creativity for projects rather than hire out. Customers at Osborne Wood Products, Inc. are no exception, and these are some of our favorite project photos to post here on the blog to show the creativity of our customers.

Take, for example, customer John M. of Dyer, Tennessee. John needed an entertainment center for his living room and went shopping. He found one he liked at a local furniture store for $8,500; however, since John is a builder, they offered him the builder discount of $6,700 plus tax. Convinced he could do better, John built his own entertainment center and accented it with the Barcelona Corbels with Acanthus Leaves (Part #8055) in rubberwood from Osborne Wood Products…all for the cost of the tax alone.
