A Farm Table for the Entire Family

Nothing brings the family together like celebrations and holidays. And there’s nothing better to gather around than a farm table! Enjoy meals and memory making around the craftsmanship of a wood farm table. The farm table was designed with functionality in mind, but has since grown to be a symbol of the family, togetherness, and home.

Our customer Griffin was seeking out the perfect farm table for his home. Here’s what he told Osborne Wood Products about his search: “My wife and I were looking for a farm house table that extended to accommodate our large family (at holiday gatherings). Unfortunately, every table we looked at did not extend the distance we were hoping (10FT) for. We also wanted it to look distressed/old which made the search even harder… So, I decided to make a table using the Osborne table slides and some 1 1/2in think tongue and grove pine boards. I used to 4in metal legs to help incorporate a modern look and to ensure proper support of the table weight. The slides are absolutely awesome and do not show any sag in the middle when fully extended. I am really happy with the slides and the final product. Thanks.”

Isn’t Griffin’s table stunning! Griffin used the 40″ Table Slide with a 100″ opening (Part #9060) for this design. This table slide is 40″ long when closed, but extends to accommodate an opening of 100 inches! That’s enough room for the entire family!
