Customer Builds Hidden Leaf Compartment between Osborne Table Slides

Table slides are a fundamental element in building an extension table. We provide several different sizes in 3 different configurations:

• Standard slides for 4-legged tables or tables where the base moves with the top as it opens
• Equalizer slides for pedestal tables or tables where the base remains stationary while the top opens
• A hybrid model called a standard equalizer slide that is intended for use on 4-legged tables that require a 5th center support leg

Our customer Robert recently sent us these photos of the 9052 equalizer slides in action. These slides are 50″ long when closed and they can accommodate up to 48″ in leaves. While his table looks like it has two pedestals that should move, they remain stationary. Robert also built an area in between the slides where he can store his leaves. If you look closely, you’ll notice he’s even lined up the grain on his table top for a beautiful effect.
