Osborne Table Slides used to Extend Knotty Alder Table

As the temperatures are dropping and Christmas is approaching it makes me think of holidays spent with family around the dining room table. Table leaves were taken out and put in the hand crafted table as the family prepared for Christmas dinner, parties, and family time together. Today, I’d like to share with you a beautifully crafted trestle table that would make anyone feel warm and welcome all year round.

Osborne customer Milan Phelps shared photos of a newly built knotty alder extension table. This table is perfect for the holidays, and adds a great country feel to the space. The beautiful knotty alder wood flawlessly matches the interior of the home, and adds a welcoming feel. To create this table Milan told us, ” I built [this table] using through tenons on all of the base joints. The table is 60 inches long with two 10 in leafs. I used an Osborne 50 inch slide for the top.” Milan used the 50″ Equalizer Slide (Part #9052) to complete his design. Great work Milan! Thank you for sharing this project with us!
