Builder's Studio: Entryway Console Table

Assemble the table base kit (see video link below for instructions on this step). This includes attaching the table legs to the skirt boards and securing the assembly with the included corner blocks.
We decided to add a roundover to the tabletop to complement the rounded legs. To do this, use a router with a roundover bit according to your preference and run that along the edge(s) of the table top. Make sure to sand the edges of the table once completing the roundover to remove any burn marks or tear out.
Place the table base upside down onto the bottom of the tabletop. Measure for your overhang (we used a 1” overhang on all sides).
- Attach the table base to the table top using the existing pocket holes in the apron and appropriate screws. Be sure the screws are not too long and will not go through the table top.
Figure eight fasteners or z-clip fasteners would also work for this step.
We sanded the table top to 220 grit and applied a natural wood stain.
