The word Capital is derived form the latin word that means head, and what a perfect way to describe this gorgeous hand carved Corinthian Half Capital! It is the perfect piece to grace the head or top of your half round column or pilaster. Embellished with incredibly detailed acanthus leaves surrounded by finely wrought carved scrolling, this capital is the optimum choice for adding the finishing touches to your project. It is 4 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide with a depth of 1 1/4". This size allows it to fit into a wide range of projects without taking up a lot of space.
