Are you looking for something with multiple design elements but an overall simple profile? The French Country Kitchen Island Leg may be the perfect choice! It offers unique dimension due to the complex profile but embodies simplistic beauty. The appealing design is 34 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. It begins with a 3" square post at the top, perfect for table aprons. Below that is a gentle inward slope that swells back out briefly to a turned ring before turning in again for the beginning of the leg center shaft. The center is long and slender, tapering slightly at the base and finishing with a beautiful bobbin spindle. The piece is completed with a 5" bottom block.
This piece will incorporate interesting texture and can be customized to accent any decor. The unfinished wooden leg will be sanded to 150 grit for a smooth surface for finishing. It is offered in several wood types, including paint and stain grade options. If your build calls for a slightly taller post, we also carry the French Country Kitchen Island Leg (Part #1749) which has a 35 1/2" height.
