Be inspired by the intriguing design of the French Country Island Leg! This design will capture the attention of your guests in the best ay possible. The unique turned design starts and ends with a square block. There is a carved spool at the top along with a simple cylindrical shaft that ends with an urn-shaped turning. Unlike many of our designs that feature elongated top blocks, this piece actually has a much larger bottom block than the top. This 6" block is perfect for framing an open shelf base cabinet, island or butcher block with a bottom shelf. The ring turnings along the profile of this 35 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide design create graceful dimension. If you are looking for a unique component that will not overshadow the rest of your space, this leg is a wonderful choice.
Like all of our kitchen island posts, this hand crafted piece is offered in a range of high quality wood species, depending on your design preference. The legs are sanded to 150 grit and ready to finish with the color of your choice. Select a stain or paint grade option to create the perfect custom touch.
