Our Large Half Round Plinth with Spool provides a beautiful way to terminate applied half round moulding. With a total of 10" in height, 3 1/2" in width and 1 1/4" of depth, this is a low profile piece that will complete your design flawlessly. The lower two-thirds of the plinth consists of a flat square face. This is surmounted by a turned spool embellished with rings at the top and bottom. The top of the spool will perfectly meet any of our 2 5/8" diameter half-round mouldings. It has a 3 1/8" width and 1 1/8" depth, but the area that meets the moulding is 2 11/16" in width and 15/16" deep. Whether you are joining lengths of base moulding or ending an application of half round moulding, this simple design is a perfect choice to create that seamless finish.
Choose from several wood species, depending on your preference and build specifications. This wooden plinth will be sanded to 150 grit and ready-to-finish.
