This unique decorative take on the classic acanthus leaf design will add an elegant touch to your space. The Modified Acanthus Leaf Crown Moulding is a work of art by itself and will easily elevate the look of your walls, doorways or cabinetry. It is 5 13/16" wide with a depth of 31/32". When applied it has a height of 4 1/2" and depth of 4". The incredibly detailed acanthus leaf pattern is mesmerizing, but this moulding takes it one step further with the stunning egg and dart pattern at the base. It is truly a sight to behold!
The exquisite details of this piece were created by using the gesso technique. Gesso is a chalk-like material that can be attached to unfinished pine moulding. The entire moulding can then be painted the color of your choice for a custom finish. We offer several gesso moulding options in our collection so you can find the one most suitable to your project.
