A design that has been around since the 1600s, tavern tables are an important element of American culture and heritage. The Tavern Dining Table Leg was designed with that heritage in mind, but with the help of a craftsman. This resulted in a beautiful dining table leg that has elegance and class, making it a stunning decorative element fit for any home.
This profile features sophisticated turnings that add a delicate quality to the piece. It is a satisfying 29" design with almost perfect symmetry. The large 7 1/8" top block provides ample support for a table skirt or cabinet, while the bottom block allows for extra shelving and support. The bottom foot allows the leg to gently grace the floor for a flawless design. The center features unique curves that are joined together by a carved bead.
This dainty design has a width of 2" making it ideal for smaller spaces or those interested in providing more leg room for their guests. If your design calls for something a little thicker, we also offer the Grand Tavern Dining Table Leg (Part #1401) which has a 2 3/4" width. These wooden legs will arrive unfinished and sanded to 150 grit. We recommend finishing them upon receipt for the highest quality result.
