The Massive Concord Kitchen Island Leg is a classic design that makes an impressive statement due to the sturdy 5" width. It is 35 1/2" tall which makes it ideal for an island leg, but its carefully crafted design makes it appear like it would support a high end piece of furniture. The 10 1/2" top block is incredibly useful when a table skirt, drawer or shelving is necessary. This block is followed by subtle curves and sophisticated bevels before you reach a 4 1/8" square towards the bottom of the leg. This added square allows for railing or shelving. The leg is finished off with a delicate bun foot.
This elegant design is offered in several unfinished wood species. You can paint or stain the leg to perfectly match the rest of your kitchen, depending on the wood type you select. Each wooden leg will be sanded to 150 grit to make finishing easy. We also offer this popular design in many size variations so that you can find the perfect fit for your project. For instance, we offer another 35 1/2" tall island post called the Narrow Concord Kitchen Island Leg (Part #1770) which features the same decorative features but has a 3" width resulting in a dainty appearance.
