Designing a farm dining table for a smaller space can be a bit of a challenge. Today, farm tables are distinguished by large "bulky" country style dining table legs. But keep in mind that these oversized table legs are not the only option for a true country style dining table! Farm table legs are based on simplicity and functionality. The Traditional Farm Dining Table Leg is a perfect example of a farm style leg that fits elegantly into a smaller dining space.
With open concept homes, larger legs can be used to over compensate for the open visual affect. In more traditional homes however, oversized table legs can look much too large and take away from seating space. This slender profile is 3" wide but still has the 29" height ideal for dining tables. The simplicity of the leg design gives it a delicate country feel. The light taper underneath the top block is just enough to add dimension without taking away from the stability and sturdy look of the piece.
Available in numerous wood species, this wooden table leg is unfinished and sanded to 150 grit. No holes or hardware are included in this leg. It can easily be finished to match current furnishings, or to contrast the table top design. For best quality results we recommend finishing all wood products immediately after receiving them.
