The Venice Corbel with Basket Weave features the gentle curves and shaping of our classic corbels, paired with a beautiful basket weave design. The corbel is 9" tall and 3" wide. It has a narrower 3 1/2" depth that will not take up too much space and makes it a great option for bars, countertops, mantels, and more. The elegant scroll-like edges and delicate basket weave pattern make this a statement piece for any space!
Our wooden corbels feature vertically-mounted keyhole openings for easy installation. Each one is available in several wood species and sanded to 150 grit making it easy for you to finish with your choice of wood stain or paint. We also offer table legs, moulding and other corbel sizes with this pattern in our Basket Weave Collection. Be sure to grab some complementary pieces to create a beautiful cohesive look!

But, what impresses me most is the carving. The Osborne craftsmen have just outdone themselves with the carving on this corbel. Not only do they carve the sides but they also carve along that curved front that also undulates in and out. It reminds me of trying to lay sod in a basket weave pattern over a golf course green that has multiple hills, valleys, trenches, and rises. I just do not know how they do it.
