The Wilmington Island Post is one of our most popular designs for kitchen island legs. This beautiful post measures 34 ½” tall, 3” wide, and has a top block length of 10”. This post comes in a large variety of wood types from our paint-grade soft maple to black walnut. If you’re looking for a particular type of wood that’s not listed, request a custom quote and we will see if we can get it made in that wood species for you. 
We also offer a wide variety of services for the Wilmington Island leg. One of the most popular of these services is our Varied Height Quarter-notch. With this service, we cut one quarter out of the leg, like we do in the standard quarter-notch, and stop the cut at your specified height. A lot of customers, for instance, want to have that quarter-notch run down the majority of the leg and stop right before the little foot on the bottom.
