Osborne Builder's Studio: Trestle Table Base Assembly
In this episode of Builder's Studio, Sara explains how to assemble a Traditional Trestle Table Base from Osborne Wood Products. This high-quality wooden table base is composed of four parts: the base, two pillars and the top. With this base you can create a sturdy table that complements anything from traditional to transitional homes, or give an existing table a sleek upgrade. This base features pre-drilled holes and hardware for easy assembly.
Assembly Instructions
Included:
1 wooden top crossmember with countersunk holes
2 round legs with hardware pre-installed
1 bottom crossmember with pre-drilled holes
Necessary nuts and washers
Other items needed:
ā ā drive ratchet
5/16ā socket/wrench
Attach legs
Take the 2 round legs and screw them into the pre-drilled holes on the bottom crossmember.
Install crossboard
When installing the top crossboard, ensure the larger countersunk holes are facing up. Set the crossboard on top of the legs. Line up the pre-drilled holes with the pre-installed hardware in the top of the legs.
Add hardware
Place a washer followed by a nut in the large countersunk holes on the top crossboard. The hardware should fit on the machine threaded bolt that is attached to the top of the base leg.
Tighten
Tighten the hardware with a ratchet.
