Builder's StudioAll VideosHow To

In this episode of Builder's Studio, Sara explains how to assemble a Traditional Trestle Table Base from Osborne Wood Products. This high-quality wooden table base is composed of four parts: the base, two pillars and the top. With this base you can create a sturdy table that complements anything from traditional to transitional homes, or give an existing table a sleek upgrade. This base features pre-drilled holes and hardware for easy assembly.

Assembly Instructions

Included:

  • 1 wooden top crossmember with countersunk holes

  • 2 round legs with hardware pre-installed

  • 1 bottom crossmember with pre-drilled holes

  • Necessary nuts and washers

Other items needed:

  • ⅜” drive ratchet

  • 5/16” socket/wrench

Step 1 - Attach legs

Take the 2 round legs and screw them into the pre-drilled holes on the bottom crossmember.

Step 2 - Install crossboard

When installing the top crossboard, ensure the larger countersunk holes are facing up. Set the crossboard on top of the legs. Line up the pre-drilled holes with the pre-installed hardware in the top of the legs.

Step 3 - Add hardware

Place a washer followed by a nut in the large countersunk holes on the top crossboard. The hardware should fit on the machine threaded bolt that is attached to the top of the base leg.

Step 4 - Tighten

Tighten the hardware with a ratchet.
