Custom Oak Hope Chest Brings Hope to Cancer Patients
At Osborne Wood Products, we love getting photos and emails of finished projects from our customers. It’s amazing to see the amazing craftsmanship and the talent that these individuals possess. We also love to read the stories. Sometimes an heirloom is created and passed down the generations. Still other times a customer will send us a story of self-less giving. Today I would love to feature one of those stories.
Our friend Bill recently purchased our Corner Colonial Ogee Feet (Part #4300) in red oak. The Ogee feet would be used on a Hope Chest that Bill was designing. Here is what he told us about the project: “Just want to show the chest that I built using Osborne oak bun feet. The feet are beautiful and very well made. They add greatly to the chest and I get many compliments on the chest. This is the second chest that I have built for the cancer center at the hospital where I volunteer. I donate these and they bring $800 – $1000 each for cancer. I will be using Osborne in my projects in the future and recommend Osborne to all my woodworking friends.”
Amazing work Bill! And what a great cause! Thank you so much for allowing Osborne components to be a part of your designs!
