Twin-over-Twin Flat Panel Bunk Bed by JRL Woodworking

When you think of bunk beds do bun feet come to mind? They did for JRL Woodworking! JRL Woodworking Blog features free furniture plans including instructions and photos for this amazing design. The design we would like to feature today comes from their recent plan for a twin-over-twin flat panel bunk bed. This bed design is perfect for a bedroom space, and can easily compliment accent furniture in the room such as dressers, closets, and more!

This bunk bed design was sent to us by Kristen L. Kristen chose to use furniture feet from Osborne throughout the design of her project. Kristen told Osborne, “To make the bunk beds match our existing dresser, we removed the feet that came on the dresser and added the same bun feet we used on the bunk beds. Together, the pieces look stunning!” Kristen chose the English Country Round Bun Foot (Part #4045) in soft maple for the project. The soft maple wood made for a fantastic painting surface that allowed for uniform color throughout the design. Kristen also added the screw dowel (Part #910). The screw dowels were used to attach the feet to the appropriate structure.
