This is a metal threaded insert that is 1 1/4" long with a 1/2" diameter and 5/16" thread. It is used for installation in wood, and is made to go with a standard 5/16" bolt. It also allows for easy removal of the part! One common use of this insert is to attach bun feet to your furniture. We even offer the option for you to request hardware installation in the furniture foot of your choice. On top of that, you can purchase the matching threaded insert so that assembling your furniture piece is a breeze. Custom hardware installation can be added to your order at an additional charge by speaking with one of our customer service representatives.
