The Massive Islander Island Leg is a work of art. It is an adaptation of the popular Islander Island Post profile (Part #1450), but it has a height of 35 1/2" and width of 5". This post gives you the same elegant curves and hand carved detail but in a larger scale. Its traditional design makes it highly versatile, as can be seen in this unique build. Whether you are building a custom kitchen island or have something else in mind, this impressive wooden leg is a great choice!
"Wow, this thing is big! That is what my wife said when she saw Osborne Wood Products Massive Islander leg for the first time. We had been searching for an anchor for a kitchen island that she was designing for a new client. Actually, when she started designing the project this beautiful specimen of craftsmanship was not in the line yet. So, when it appeared on the New Products webpage my wife had to see it in person. Long story short, the kitchen turned out great. Her client was so pleased and the sheer size of this behemoth really gave the kitchen some foundation. It was the perfect leg for this very traditional looking kitchen." ~ Contributed by Charles Head, Beautiful Interiors.

The maple legs were exactly what I wanted for a kitchen island. They really set it off.
These legs will be used in the construction of a kitchen island. The legs are extremely well made. The design is lovely and quite unique.
Used these to as posts at the overhang on an 8 foot island - looks great!
We are using the Massive Islander leg on a prep island for a client. Importing the leg into the Cabinet Vision drawing helped us because the client got to see the leg, in proportion to the rest of the island. The quality was very good.
