This incredible piece is a variation of the stunning Sapelo Kitchen Island Leg (Part #1713) featuring the same profile in an expanded size. This leg is 35 1/2" tall with an impressive 6" width. It is remarkably durable and will support any countertop of your choice. The wooden top block allows you to add drawers, shelving or a table apron to the top of your kitchen island design. This piece also features a stretcher block just above the round bun foot which can also be used for shelving or rails. The most noticeable aspect of this piece is definitely the handcrafted center which is adorned with reeded carvings.
Regardless of your preferences, this leg can be customized to fit your build perfectly. It is offered in numerous unfinished wood types and will be sanded to 150 grit. Apply the color of your choice to the leg (wood stain or paint depending on the wood species selected) for a gorgeous custom finish!
