A combination of tradition, functionality and craftsmanship, the Sapelo Reeded Kitchen Island Leg has it all. The island leg may appear simple at first but there are stunning design elements from the top to bottom of this piece. The first is the square top block which is great for table aprons and drawers. Next is a turned ring followed by the centerpiece of the leg - the cylindrical shaft with reeded carvings all the way around. These carvings add visual interest to your design and complement a wide range of styles. But that is not all - there are also additional turned rings, a stretcher block and a round bun-like foot at the base of this design. All of this detail is balanced beautifully in the 35 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide design. It is understandable why this profile has adorned many kitchen island builds!
