The Fluted Islander Kitchen Island Leg begins and ends with squares that provide beautiful visual contrast to the turnings that are presented between. Below the upper square, a pair of ringed turns introduces the upper portion of a turned and tapered shaft that is embellished with fluting. The fluted shaft finishes with a simple cylinder that is bordered on either side by another ringed turn. The entire leg completes beautifully on a substantial square.
This profile is 35 1/2" tall and 3" wide, a size typically used in kitchen projects though it can be incorporated into other creative applications. It complements similar components within our Reeded and Fluted Collection such as moulding, table legs and furniture feet. All of our wooden pieces are sanded to 150 grit and ready to finish. They come in a variety of wood species, depending on your style preferences and build specifications.
