Sturdy and foursquare, our Massive Square Mission Kitchen Island Leg is a great choice when both physical and visual heft is required. The design is symmetrical and it begins and finishes with square blocks. The top block is 7" tall, while the bottom is 6". Both of these provide extra application possibilities as they make it easy to attach a table skirt, drawer or shelf. A separation is created between these blocks and the primary shaft with inwardly sloped routing. The primary shaft is comprised of a large rectangle on which each side has sophisticated recessed grooves, commonly seen among Mission style furniture.
The leg is 35 1/2" tall with an impressive width of 5". It is available in a wide variety of wood types, depending on your preference. You can choose a paint grade or stain grade option and match the piece to your decor. All of our wooden components are sanded to 150 grit and left unfinished so that you can customize it upon arrival.

The posts I ordered were knotty pine. The problem I had with them was that there were absolutely no knots in them. I needed them to show the knots to match the existing cabinets. I plan to use the wood legs for my kitchen island, we are building a new home and it will be some time before we can get to this project. The reason for the 4 stars is I have not installed product yet. I am sure it will be stunning. Osborne was referred to me by a company here in KC called GOT BARN WOOD.
