All of our wooden table slides are sold as a pair (one left, one right).
This 26" Equalizer Slide is constructed with a camber to prevent table sagging. It has a rack and pinion design creating a smooth and balanced extension. Each slide has eight pre-drilled holes to attach to the table top. Mounting screws for the table top are not included.
- Length of the slide when closed: 26"
- Length of the slide when fully extended: 77"
- Width of slide when closed: 5 5/8" (constructed with five sections)
- Accepts four (4) 12" leaves
It is important to select the correct table slide prior to purchase:
- Equalizer table slides: Designed for use on a table supported by a single pedestal as it develops a camber to compensate for sagging at the table ends. Tabletops that are supported on a single pedestal require an equalizer slide that incorporates a rack and pinion system to ensure that the tops easily open and close while staying in balance.
- Standard table slides: A standard slide is designed for a four-legged table, where the distance between the legs on each end of the table increases as the table is opened. A standard slide creates a camber to compensate for sagging in the center of the table.
