Pedestals and More
Standing strong and tall, and supported by the curves of Cabriole pedestal feet, the wooden pedestal is perhaps the most elegant means of table support. The graceful octagonal column is ringed with an ornate turned section creating a look that is both intricate and yet somehow still exudes simplicity. At eight inches wide, the Osborne Pedestal provides a sturdy base for any table, and is available in the standard 24 1/2 inch height, as well as at a 34 1/2 inch height for our extended version. Both pedestals pair perfectly with the Cabriole Pedestal Feet (part 1430), and the Ball and Claw Pedestal Feet (part 1433). Pedestals and pedestal feet are all available in nine or more wood types as part of our available pedestal table parts. Occasionally called a wood pedestal column or wood pedestal base, our unfinished pedestals provide a wonderful foundation for creating the perfect dining table.
Also available from Osborne Wood Products are hand crafted bedposts in two distinct styles. The popular Cannonball post is available in two heights; 46 inches tall for the headboard and 39 inches tall for the footboard. The classic Shaker styled Pencil Post stands at a magnificent 81 inches tall, while its clean lines and minimalist design call to mind the remembrance of simpler times. Both of these styles are available in ten or more wood types, including eco-friendly Lyptus, FSC Certified Hard Maple, and FSC Certified Cherry, as well as all of the standard woods available through Osborne Wood Products.
Whether for topping the aforementioned bed posts, or to gracefully adorn mirrors, newel posts, and such the like; Osborne Wood Products carries a line of turned wooden finials that are perfectly suited to such tasks. Though our unfinished finials are petite, one should not underestimate their ability to transform your next design. After all, making sure the minute details are absolutely perfect is integral to putting the right finishing touch on a project. As with our other turned items, these finials are available in at least ten wood types.
