Local Middle School Students Visit Osborne During Industry Tour Day

December 5, 2023 - On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, a large group of local eighth grade students had the opportunity to visit Osborne Wood Products, Inc. during their industry tour day. This event was facilitated by the Stephens County Development Authority (SCDA) and there were over 40 students in attendance.

The group visited multiple local businesses including Osborne where they toured several departments and enjoyed lunch onsite. The students were able to learn about production, shipping and office duties at Osborne. During the tour, they also found out information about Osborne’s hiring process and various opportunities available in the community.

The tour was a wonderful experience and a great way for Osborne to provide support and insight to local students. Lois Hylton, Administrative Assistant of SCDA, thanked the company for participating in the event and shared the following feedback:
